Today, Santa Rosa Stone continues to specialize in custom residential work throughout the Coachella Valley.
We complete custom homes, remodels and selected tract projects. In many cases, we are now remodeling homes in the same communities I helped build years ago while managing crews at KDI.
Styles and materials have changed dramatically during my career. Many older homes originally featured entry-level granite and rounded bullnose edges. Today, homeowners are choosing quartz, porcelain and natural quartzites such as Taj Mahal.
Regardless of what is currently in style, my heart remains with custom, one-of-a-kind stonework.

I have spent most of my life in the stone business, and I still love what I do.
I enjoy being one of the final craftsmen on a project that may have started with someone moving dirt, pouring a foundation, framing walls, installing wiring and building cabinetry.
After all those stages are complete, we arrive with the finished stone and add an artistic element to the home.
These homes represent years of planning, investment and hard work. When we install the final stone and see the customer’s reaction, it reminds me why I entered this business and why I have stayed in it for so long.
There is no better feeling than receiving a call from a homeowner who simply wants to say thank you and tell us how much they love the finished work.
