We have decades of hands-on experience with granite, marble, onyx, limestone, travertine, slate, quartz, quartzite, and porcelain. We only use quality materials and no longer fabricate laminate or Corian countertops. Each material has its own advantages and characteristics — we're happy to walk you through the differences so you choose what's right for your home:

• Granite & Marble — natural stone with unique veining and color in every slab. Once a particular block is gone, it's gone for good, which is part of what makes it special.
• Quartz — durable and low-maintenance, holds its appearance for decades. Because cutting quartz creates silica dust, we cut, grind, and polish using wet methods and follow strict safety practices to protect our employees.
• Quartzite — a natural stone that's become increasingly popular for its durability and dramatic movement (Taj Mahal is a customer favorite).
• Porcelain — increasingly popular for its ability to mimic natural stone patterns. We'll explain a few characteristics to be aware of, such as how veining may not run through the full thickness of the slab, which can affect the look of cut edges and mitered corners.
• Onyx, Limestone, Travertine, Slate — used for accent pieces, flooring, and specialty architectural features.

Yes. We handle custom kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, shower surrounds, fireplaces, and outdoor barbecue surfaces for homeowners, as well as countertops and stonework for commercial and tract projects. Most of our work is custom, one-of-a-kind fabrication designed for a specific home or space.

Yes. We repair seams, scratches, chips, and edges, and we offer polishing and floor refinishing services.

We take full responsibility for our workmanship. If material is damaged or broken because of something that happens during our fabrication or installation process, we don't expect you to absorb that loss — we repurchase the material and make it right. Our reputation depends on every finished project, and we stand behind our work.

Yes. We understand we're working inside your home, not just on a job site. Before we begin, our crews:

• Cover floors with protective paper or other materials
• Install plastic barriers where needed
• Cover and protect nearby furniture, cabinetry, and appliances
• Keep tools and materials organized
• Work to minimize dust, damage, and disruption
• Clean the work area as the project progresses

Founder Glen Woods has worked in the stone trade since the early 1980s, starting with Corian countertops in Texas before moving into marble and granite fabrication. He relocated to the Coachella Valley in 1990, managed a large-scale stone operation at KDI Stoneworks, and founded what became Santa Rosa Stone in 2006. With decades of experience, Glen has fabricated everything from custom marble handrails to stone doorknobs, and has completed work in some of the Valley's most exclusive communities.

Construction schedules don't always go according to plan — cabinets arrive late, permits get delayed, other trades fall behind. When your project is under pressure, we make every reasonable effort to help recover the schedule. That said, speed never replaces quality — we won't rush a job in a way that compromises the finished work.
